Underwater Photography is so undervalued and often invisible because we live on the land. The oceans make up a large percentage of the surface of our planet. Much of life on our planet first evolved in aquatic environments, so it is safe to say, there may be some very interesting things underwater. In this photography, I am scuba diving in different parts of the world to see what lies underneath the surface. I want to capture underwater creatures like jellyfish and coral reefs, and I want to capture man-made objects that lie underwater. We must also respect and acknowledge the vast importance of our oceans. Did you know that the ocean, and specifically phytoplankton, contribute 50% of our planet’s atmospheric oxygen? Tell that to the trees.
